We are now less than two weeks away from our upcoming Hannukah youth camp, which will take place December 18-21. We have over 180 teens registered, but sadly we can only host 100 teens at this camp. It will be hosted in Ein Gedi, a well known biblical site where David hid from Saul in the Judean desert. Thankfully, we have such a great team of small group leaders and logistics, that we decided to host a bit more than our normal 90 teens and allow a few more to join.
With preparations nearly complete, we are brimming with anticipation as teens and leaders prepare their hearts and minds for four intense, yet exciting, fun, and Spirit-filled days at Katzir. Being in Ein Gedi provides the perfect backdrop for this year’s camp theme: the life of King David.

Over the course of the camp, our teens and leaders will explore the key stages of David’s life. During the daily small group discussions, we’ll dive into his Psalms—discovering lessons about a life devoted to intimacy, faith, and trust in God through different seasons of life. It’s an opportunity for them not only to learn but to experience his story in a way that points us to the Gospel and gives fuel to their journey with God.
Below, we are attaching the devotional booklet for this youth camp. We thought some of you would like to have a deeper understanding of what our teens are receiving in these camps, and follow along with them as you pray for them to receive God’s love and encounter Him throughout the camp. The devotionals are only a part of the content for the camp. We have four general teaching sessions which are meant to create a journey together with the devotionals.

Here is a breakdown of it all together:
• First message – David as a teen, leading up to the story of David and Goliath. Faithfulness in small and hidden things, before large victories.
1. First Devotional: Psalms 23
• Second message – David flees from Saul and the period in the wilderness. Receiving a promise, and learning to trust God to be faithful to His promise.
2. Second devotional: Psalms 63 – David flees from Absalom.
• Third message – David as king, sin, and repentance.
3. Third devotional: the meaning of the expression “a man after my own heart” from the story of Saul and David, and the difference between them.
• Fourth and final message – a summary of David’s life from a broader perspective: how he chose to rely on God during difficult times and find strength in Him.
We also have 3 amazing workshops planned that the youth will go through:
1. Learning how to read the Psalms
2. Overcoming anxiety
3. AI and faith for teens (Ruby will be teaching this one)
We invite you to pray with us that every moment of camp—devotionals, teachings, workshops, worship, fellowship, conversations, and personal ministry—will become a catalyst for life-changing encounters with God.
Through your participation in prayer, we hope to see:
• Young people making their first decision to follow Yeshua.
• Hearts experiencing true repentance, healing, and restoration.
• Teens being strengthened, encouraged, and empowered in their walk with the Lord.
With your focused prayers and generous gifts you make it possible for these transformative moments to happen, helping shape lives and bearing fruit for the kingdom. Thank you for being an essential part of this camp. We know that we will see God move in significant ways in the lives of the teens because of your faithful prayers for them.
With love and appreciation,
